A newly opened North East hotel is looking to do business with corporate guests by offering extensive, state-of-the-art conference facilities.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Newcastle International Airport Hotel, located just metres from the terminal, has been specifically designed to cater for the needs of business people from across the North East as well as those staying overnight or travelling through the airport.

Along with a 24-hour business centre, which is available to all guests and offers complimentary internet access and printing facilities, the glass fronted, modern building also houses five, air-conditioned meeting rooms.

Holding between 12 and 20 delegates, they each benefit from natural daylight and feature in-built, cutting edge audio visual equipment and a range of connectivity features.

Day delegate rates start from £32.00 per person and include room hire, a two-course lunch, two servings of tea and coffee, mineral water and delegate stationary.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Newcastle International Airport Hotel also boasts a large function room – the Polo Suite - which can accommodate between 40 and 150 people for corporate functions such as seminars and conferences or private events, including birthdays and weddings.

It includes a private bar, two entrances and a dance floor, which can be covered to maximise seating space or exposed for use at parties or wedding receptions.
